This blog usually focuses on what’s going on up in the mountains, but sometimes the main action is down in the valley. I’ve always said the three critical components of skiing are terrain, snow and beer. As the days get longer and the sun gets stronger, that third pillar gets more and more important.
Not that the Swiss – or the sunny Lodge Sax terrace – need much help when it comes to après-ski, but we’re super pumped to tell you that we’ll be getting a little extra assistance from the good folks at Feldschloesschen, our beloved partner in the beer department.
Their giant Corona Iglu will magically arise beside our terrace for a big après-ski party. That’s on Saturday, February 25. We’re hoping it turns into our biggest after-ski of the year.
Gorgeous Corona waitresses will be on-scene slinging the beer. A handsome Lodge Sax waiter will grill sausages for you on our barbecue and DJ music will be playing all afternoon.
Come on out! Swap tales of great descents on and off the pistes. Follow the aroma of grilling meat over to the barbecue and get yourself a giant bratwurst. Sit down with your pals, grab a set of Corona dice and play for continuous give-aways – bottle openers, necklaces, headbands and much more. Dance the afternoon away. And don’t forget to enter the contest to win a pair of Corona Freeskis! They’ll be given away right at the event.
You can read Corona’s version of what the event is all about by clicking here.
Come and make it the season’s best after-ski! There’s no cover charge, the fun starts at 14:00 and goes until well after the sun goes down, 19:00.
